  • New Feature: You can now zoom in and out of an image and rotate a PDF in the viewer — the Close button is now an X icon in the same style as the other icons

New Job User role and Job Sheet Types

  • New Feature: A new 'Job User' role — users with the Job User or Job Manager role can see and search all jobs; users without them only see jobs they're scheduled on, manage or cost, and only their own scheduled and booked times in a job's Labour tab
  • All existing users were assigned the Job User role on release, so PaperDrop continues to work as it did before
  • Removing a role takes effect as soon as the user logs out and back in — or within about 10 minutes otherwise
  • New Feature: Job Sheet Types — define types such as Site Survey or Site Measure in Settings → Job → Job Sheet Type, choose the type when creating a Job Sheet, and it's saved into that type's folder
  • Fixed an issue where Print Timesheets failed to load correctly

  • Fixed an issue in DropScan where a scanned invoice wouldn't automatically match its purchase order when the supplier printed your PO reference as an 'Order Number' on the invoice

  • New Feature: When you approve a scanned supplier invoice, DropScan now brings your prices into line — matching purchase order line prices are updated to the invoiced prices and the purchase order totals recalculated
  • On stock purchases (lines linked to a catalogue material), the price of each linked material in your materials catalogue is also updated to match the invoice; on non-stock purchases only the purchase order prices are updated
  • Before you approve, the review screen clearly lists every purchase order and material price that will change, with the before and after value for each, so there are no surprises
  • New Feature: Images can now be rotated in the viewer
  • New Feature: When viewing an image or PDF, you can now move next/previous through the other files in the same folder directly from the viewer
  • The full site address is now shown when viewing or searching a customer site on the Job Details page, without repeating parts already in the site name

  • New Feature: Kit Builds — add a kit of multiple labour and materials to each Costing Item; create a Kit Build Template from the kebab menu or apply an existing one (managed in Settings → Job → Kit Build Template), with values reflected in the Financial Overview and on the generated PDF, and copied along with item and quote templates
  • New Feature: Quotes can now include a summary on the generated PDF — every item's total price including Labour, Materials and Kit Builds (incl. kit markup), mirroring the on-screen Costings totals grid, with a grand total at the bottom
  • New Configurator setting: throw a page break after every item on the generated Quote PDF
  • New Configurator setting: allow users to add bookings to their own diary

Smarter DropScan supplier matching and tax-code checks

  • Fixed an issue where a document against a Purchase Credit couldn't be viewed or downloaded, showed as added by 'Unknown User', and subsequently failed to send to Xero/QuickBooks
  • Fixed an issue where a job could disappear when its associated Job Sheet was completed and the resulting timesheet clashed with an existing one — you're now warned of the clash both when completing and when saving a Job Sheet, and the associated schedule is no longer deleted, so the job doesn't disappear

  • Tax and CIS now show as two separate lines on an invoice, even when both are at the same rate

  • New Feature: It is now possible to add Mileage costs to a job, with those mileage costs forming part of the Expenditure in Financial Overview
  • To enable this setting, a System Administrator must enable 'Enter Mileage for Job' from the PaperDrop Configurator

  • Whether entering mileage is mandatory for certain jobs can be enabled or disabled in the Job Template Wizard

  • New Feature: When creating a quote, users can choose to show the quote breakdown on the generated document, which shows a breakdown of charges for Labour and Materials
  • Whether this quote breakdown is set by default can be configured in the PaperDrop Configurator
  • New Feature: It is now possible to enter a quantity against each item added to a quote — this multiplies the price by the entered quantity and is included in the generated quote
  • New Feature: It is now possible to generate a scope document when a quote document is created — this is essentially the Quote document but with pricing removed
  • The scope document is stored in a 'Scope' folder in the Documents tab against a job
  • New Feature: It is now possible to switch off the ability for users to approve a quote from Draft Quote status
