From Chaos to Control, the story of PaperDrop
James Taylor, a contractor and company owner, was frustrated by endless paperwork and juggling multiple systems at AJS.
Determined to simplify things, he created PaperDrop, a job management tool built for contractors. This is his story, and ours.
At first, it was just for AJS. It helped them manage job schedules, handle documents, and track hours—all in one place. It made life easier, plain and simple. But then, other contractors noticed. They saw how it was cutting down on admin work and saving time at AJS, and they wanted in.
What started as an internal tool became a full-blown job management system. And the best part? It was built by contractors, for contractors. James knew what the industry needed—no fluff, just a practical tool that got the job done.
Now, it’s called PaperDrop. The name reflects what the system’s all about: making paperwork easy and helping contractors move toward a paperless future. PaperDrop is still the no-nonsense tool it started as, designed to keep things simple and efficient.
